Tall caims are being made by the successive Central and State Governments for long for upliftment of the far flung, backward and hilly areas of the country/State. There are various Centrally Sponsored Schemes for the development of these areas but on ground there is no development in the areas for which they are meant. The hapless, poor and backward people of Dachhan also meet the same fate in the developmental activities. Considering the population area and backwardness of the area Dachhan has been given the Status of Tehsil recently while creating new Administrative units in the State.
