The track of Ekhala to Hanzal is known as Dachhan.
It is a land locked area quite independent of either Dachhan or Kishtwar although it has been a Part of District Kishtwar.
On the upgradation of Dachhan nibat as tehsil in the year 2012, Now Dachhan is Tehsil of District Kishtwar. Previously it was a pargana of erstwhile Marwah tehsil.It has an area of 100.50sq Kms. out of 873sq kms of Marwa tehsil. Dachhan Tehsil comprising five revenue villages of Chichal, Lohrna, Janakpur, Lopara and Sonder.
