🙏🙏🙏 Jai Shree Hudh  Mata  Ki Jai shree trisandhiya mata Di  🙏🙏🙏 Respected devotees/lifelong members,       Nameskar and Jai Shree Hudh  Mata  Ki.  Mata Rani has assigned us a new job of helping District administration Kishtwar and the   helicopter operators to start the  heli service to its holy shrines.        The administration has fixed a target of about 70/80 pilgrims a day for the start of the yatra and if no service is started this year, no tendering shall be done in future and the chapter shall stand closed for ever and we should forget this dream. So a duty is cast on all of us to motivate our family members and friends to take this opportunity and perform the yatra through heli service.  The rate of both the flights has been fixed Rs.8800/- from Kishtwar to Kaikooth and back Rs. 4400/-  from  Kishtwar to Sounder and Rs.4400/- from Sounder to Kaikooth and b...

Tehsil Dachhan  The tract of Ekhala to Hanzal is known as Dachhan. It is a land locked area quite independent of either Marwa or Kishtwar although it has been a part of Marwa tehsil. On the upgradation of Marwa nibat as tehsil in the year 2005, Dachaan was given the status of Niabat under Marwa tehsil. Previously it was a pargana of erstwhile Kishtwar tehsil. It has an area of 100.50sq. Kms. out of 873 sq kms of Marwa tehsil comprising five revenue villages of Chichal Dachhan, Lohrna, Janakpur, Lopara and Sonder. The river bisects the valley into two with better half of population on left side. Tehsil Dachhan  It joins ChanderBhaga at Bhandarkoot. Image
Kind attention SHREE HUDHMATA TRISANDHIYA YATRA MANAGING COMMITTEE BLOCK JAMMU  Is thankful to all lifelong members who have been kind enough to donate their hard earned money in the form of lifelong membership and supporting the committee for a long time. I have a strong belief that mata rani  in turn shall fill ur homes with happiness ,prosperity, good health & peace . Your little donations have helped the committee to conduct the pious yatra all along these years smoothly and successfully. As you know that donation book holders use to collect the donations by visiting each individual personally and the process is becoming  very difficult day by day. It is the right time to take the benefit of technology and the easy facilities provided by the concerned banks. All what you have to do is fill the form as per next message and submit the same to committee so that your monthly deduction may directly be credited from your account to the account of SHREE HUDHMA...

Confluence controversies :  The road in front of the rivers turn right to Bhandarkut bridge The road in front of the rivers turn right to Bhandarkut bridge, Nomadic Bakarwals have  just arrived with sheep and goats from the Kishtwar side  and after crossing the bridge they will go up the Marusudar valley perhaps to Dachhan or higher to Marwah . Other road,( not visible in my photos) leads to the Paddar section of the Chandrabhaga valley. Chandrabhaga flows under Bhandarkut bridge to join Marusudar ... see the difference of water colors at the confluence of two rivers.  Some people say that Marusudar is Chenab as it carries more water, other  that Chandrabhaga as it is longer, hence it is Chenab , but I  believe that Chenab begins here , where Marusudar and Chandrabhaga do end.  Chandrabhaga begins in  Tandi in Lahul.
